Montclair History Center is pleased to announce the appointment of Beatriz Albini-Ruiz to its board of trustees.

Board President Liz Hynes stated, “On behalf of the trustees, we are delighted to welcome Beatriz to the History Center board. Her expertise in leadership development and helping organizations navigate complex demands will be invaluable as we continue to pursue sustainable growth in our mission of sharing Montclair’s diverse and complex history.”

Beatriz currently serves as an executive leadership coach and entrepreneur supporting mid- to senior-level leaders in tech, media, and non-profits. As the CEO and Founder of Brave Leadership Group, she focuses on coaching and HR consulting with a niche in developing diverse talent.

Beatriz is also the Founder/Owner of Montclair Candle Co., based here in Montclair, where she focuses on creating hand-made luxury candles and home fragrance products rooted in wellness and intentional living. She is a Life Coach, Reiki energy practitioner, and proud mother of two boys.

Beatriz shared, "As a Montclair resident and local business owner, it's very important to me to be part of my community. Given the importance of MHC's mission and inclusive environment, joining the board felt like the right choice. I hope with my background in HR and Entrepreneurship, I can bring a fresh perspective to the continued growth and success of the organization."
